ANNEX – Skilltree Roguelike for PC & VR

Annex is a roguelike ARPG for PC & VR featuring Koko, a young AI trapped inside a forsaken computer. As Koko awakens for the first time, it becomes evident that the young AI must explore this digital world and face the vicious Destroware. Created to drive AIs into despair, they pose the biggest challenge for Koko’s survival. But the Destroware is not the only obstacle; traps, puzzles, and ever-changing abilities await the young AI on its journey.

Unlike other roguelikes, Annex is built around the idea of a complex skill-tree system. Rather than giving you a single ability, these so-called EVOs provide an entire theme. The Spike-EVO for example might give you the ability to place spiky traps or surround yourself with a reflecting shield whereas the Music-EVO could potentially turn your run into a rhythm game experience. Some abilities can even be modified by links to abilities from entirely different EVOs. Invest your XP wisely to unlock Koko’s full potential and create your own unique playstyle!
